4 x Steel Pegs (3mm x 150mm)

Use these pegs to secure the feet of your sculpture to the grass. Typically we recommend using 2 pegs per foot so a set of four is sufficient for one bird. The pegs will keep your sculpture upright and looking magnificent even in quite strong winds.

If your sculpture will be moved often, e.g. when mowing the lawn, or the ground is soft such as in flower beds, you may want to consider our heavy-duty pegs - see https://farawayfinds.co.uk/products/heavy-duty-steel-pegs. The heavy-duty pegs can also be used in stony or very hard ground where these pegs may bend with the force needed to drive them into the ground.

Excellent and useful piece of kit for securing outdoor works of art to the lawn

Easy to use by just pressing in by hand and then pressing into the hilt on the lawn using toe or heel of booted foot (with weight of body). These worked well, but since we live in a very windy county and the artworks are quite fragile and light, to be safe, we subsequently ordered the heavy duty version. Both are easy to extract using a hook or other tool when you need to mow the lawn or wish to reposition the works of art. The steel pegs are unobtrusive as they press in flush to the lawn surface and are mostly hidden by the grass (or flower bed).
