Why do you need my telephone number?
We need the telephone number as couriers make it mandatory to accept the booking. We promise that we won't share it with other third parties and it is needed only for shipping purposes.
This purchase is a gift for someone can I send it direct to them?
Yes, you can send the sculpture direct to a third party during the checkout process. Please remember to add their name to their address.
Where does your metal art and bird art originate?
Our metal sculptures are purchased direct from the indigenous artisans providing competitively priced handcrafted art from genuine African sources. All the metal used is from recycled sources
Where can I buy some of your metal art and bird art?
Our metal sculptures are available directly from Faraway Finds via our online shop or by phone on 01223 655686 and can be despatched nationwide or international.
Can your bird and animal art be used as garden sculptures?
Our sculptures are designed for outside location. To maintain the look of the sculpture we recommend a quick coating by brush or spray of polyurethane or yacht varnish once a year. In this way your sculpture will look as good as the day you received it for years and years.
Can I use your metal art in my home?
Yes, our animal sculptures can be use in the home to add a touch of interest to an interior location. However, it should be noted that our metal art may contain sharp edges.
How do I maintain my bird or animal art?
Our sculptures are weatherproofed using Woodoc Marine sealer. They are ready to be installed in the garden as they are, and their deep gloss finsih will mellow over the years.
